It's really a matter of perspective, because one person's weekend adventure is someone else's nightmare.

Please share the craziest thing you've seen someone do...that you now plan to do?

`I loved Benedict Allen's _Who Goes Out in the Midday Sun?_ (published in his native UK as _Mad White Giant_). Crossing the Amazon on foot would be an amazing feat. Only it is hard to be sure what parts of the book are true, and what parts are embellishment.
