`Nothing beats camping somewhere lost in the forest with some wild animals and fishing in the morning when you just start hearing birds.

Getting back to the earth for our living.
Camping along mountain streams panning for gold.
Why not? It is 1200 an ounce and lots of fun!

Almost every outdoor adventure I have done is my favorite. Snorkelling is fun whether it is a tropical reef or a stream close to home. Backpacking takes me to places few people go -- which I find extra special as a nudist, since it gets me into places where no one will see me to complain about my being nude. Knowing how to navigate off-trail does the same thing, but closer to home. Being adventurous has saved me on gas money, too -- I know one underveloped wild area in which getting there by car involves driving all the way across town, across a bridge, and then all the way back on the other side of the river; but by swimming the river, I was able to get there just by driving a few blocks.
My dog is a faster swimmer than I am I guess that comes of the Lab somewhere in his family tree (according to the DNA test).

`I love getting up early on a summer morning and floating down the river, then when it gets dark, or whenever we feel like it, setting up camp for the night. If I could I would do it everyday.

`Hey, electricspank, I hear ya! Sometimes I think I'd like to do what Jesus' disciples did: take neither cloak nor purse nor extra sandals, just go with what is on my back, no specific destination in mind, wherever the road may lead. But then that little voice of reason speaks up, saying it wouldn't be a fun adventure; more likely, it would be an ordeal of hunger and cold.
"Anyone can see the road that they're walking is paved in gold/ It's always summer they'll never get cold/ They'll never get hungry, they'll never get old and gray.../ But where were they going without ever knowing the way?"
