My adventures are more like misadventures. Something always turns hilariously wrong or not exactly as planned. Let's take my last adventure into ocean kayaking. I love kayaking in general and have done it quite successfully...on lakes, so to my complete an utter bewilderment it wasn't the same. I quite enjoyed the paddling in and paddling out part of the trip. It is what transpired in between where it all went down hill. Well #1 I get extreme sea sickness. I know, for some reason I thought it would effect me less in a smaller boat....yeah boy was I wrong. I felt every damn swell in that ocean for the next 3 hrs we were on that lovely tour. I could feel my care factor dropping as the nausea got worse and the guide showed us yet another rock encrusted with bird excrement. Whoopie. By the time we stopped to look at kelp I was beyong caring and really ill. Thankfully we were able to come in and because I am deathly afraid of sharks I was determined not to flip over in my kayak and if I had to take out a couple of people on my way in so be it. No just kidding, I tried really hard to avoid them, but that is one big kayak. I took out a good 7 or 8 people. It was so sad....but my kayak stayed up right amazingly and I stumbled out all proud and proceeded to retch on shore. Now who wants the first date? Don't push and shove now
