Find a man that is honest and fun loving I went on a sailing trip from Vancouver to Kitimat...which was a blast...even though we ran into all kinds of trouble. First day out, we were in strong winds and all our extra fuel and water were in our dingy, which was being hauled behind the boat, and it almost sank because of all the water that was getting into it. Things got better for a couple of days...than the muffler blew on the motor (which is located in the cabin), so we had black smoke everwere...not a pretty sight. Then, it went well again for a few more days....but we did hit somemore storng winds..up to 35 knots. Just before we got to our destination, the motot decided that it had had enough and quit. It was one of those windy days and we were coming into port with no motor and no one from the port was able to come out and tow us in. We ended up calling the coast guard but they were too far away. Finally, some one with another boat was coming into the same port and helped out. After all this and trying to get the boat tied up to the dock, it got winder and we had to pull the boat in closer. But all in all, it was quit the experience and I would do it again.
