Frozen StClair River Tried to cross the StClair River on snow shoes. Got about half a mile out. The ice started flowing, decided it was a bad idea. Then turned around to get back to shore and kept running into open water, then broke a snow shoe and got worried. Thought about the stories of the indians who sent their women ahead to test the way and disappeared
through the ice. Since I am still here....Lots more true stories, I'm 53.
