Motorcycling around Australia I got to Australia for the 2nd time in 08 .A friend of mine over there loaned my his second bike, a Royal Enfield Bullet.I set off frrom near sydney, to broken Hills , in the outback and then on across to Adelaide .It took me 3 weeks for that part of the trip. I was there to see the country and meet people and not burn tarmac .I stayed in Adelaide for 10 days and spent a lot of that time travelling around the area, out in the Flinders Moutains and into the Barossa valley wine region. I then rode across to melbourne, taking the coast road,to see the remaining nine members of the 12 apostles ( rock stacks ).Melbourne was amazing. So far its my favourite city in the world. There are music festivals going on every day of the year .From there i rode to Canberra .Thats a pretty, but boring city apart form the war memorial museum, which really brings home the horror of war and shows many of the human stories that ran through that time.The Fountain is pretty amazing . Then it was back to Sydney for a few days before riding up to Byron Bay for a week and on to brisbane .I met some amazing musicians there and back in Byron , when I stopped for a couple of days for the byron Bay Blues festival. I made some side trips to Nimbin, Weeke city, climbed Mt. Warning, and then rode back down the Gold Coast to Sydney for some amazing parties. I spent some time exploring the Blue Mts, before flying back home .I got involved in another adventure 2 days after i got home,but thats another story
