i’ve led an adventurous life, i’m three seasons into my current one. i dredge for gold in ak over the summer on the fortymile river. i have five claims with a campsite on the claims. it’s only accessible by the river, boat or hovercraft, no roads or trails, true wilderness. no cell reception, wifi, radio, tv or even electricity unless i’m generating it. i’ve a 12’x16’ wall tent on a 12’x20’ raised platform surrounded by solar powered electric fence to fend off bear and moose. wood stove for heat, lip gas range/oven for cooking, working on hot water. it’s a work in progress, a labor of love if you will. i’d like companionship, a week, a month, the season, how ever it works out. you would get a percentage of the gold depending on your level of involvement, or just come to hang out and be...working this summer to finance next season, so if this piques your curiosity get in touch and we’ll talk. you’re going to want to be in good physical shape, as this can be a challenging endeavor. people die doing this, usually because they weren’t paying attention or weren’t prepared. i thrive in this environment. i usually head up there in april and return in october, weather depending. all things are negotiable to me, i’m easy going, love life, and do my best to live a spiritual existence.
